The site is sloooow!
Takes a while to go thru the Forum / post messages, etc.
Also, not able to post "Shout" messages.

Pachislodb is on a shared server, so that why its slow. And as for the shouts only moderators and the Great Pachi King Chris are allowed to use it!

Ok, I moved the database to another server. It seems to have sped things up a bit. Let me know how it is working for you.
Yes, I disabled the shouts for non-moderator/admin users since some people were abusing it and/or using for what it was not intended for.

I gave up trying to get to the machine database earlier today. It must be slow because it's such a popular feature! :? Had a cup of coffee while waiting---that sped one of us up. :)

The Machine database is on a different server from the forum database. If things are working a lot better then I will try and move the machine database to a different server.

Thanks Chris. It's now faster accessing the forum. Haven't tried the database yet.

WOW! Everything is faster (including db). Now I'll have to take my Geritol and have some espresso to keep up.

Yay! The site is way faster!
The other day I had to wait three minutes for a page to load.
Kinda reminded me of dial up. LOL
