Recent Posts block and New Post Count from main index.

Post by Chris »

I added a new block to the left hand column: Recent Posts. it will show the title, user and time of the last five posts. Is this useful or just clutter?

I also added the number of new posts on the main index page.

I like it, I like to keep up on the new posts, an unread posts shortcut would be nice as well.

It should also bring up unread posts as well.

You can mark a post as unread even after you read it by click on the unread icon on the subject line. It should look like this Image.

I have seen a "unread posts button: just New posts link on other sites, that makes it fast to skip over pre-read items and quickly stay up on the new posts, Chris I know you can do it ;)
