M-4 Coin Mech issue

Post by ItsEman »

I have an Eleco machine that is having an issue with its coin mechanism. The coins won't stay on track when they are dropped in. They fall out right around the spot where they pass the spring loaded arm. All the parts seem to be moving freely, nothing seems to be jammed up. This isn't my machine so this is my first experience with these mechs. Anybody have any ideas or come across this problem before?

Are you using tokens or quarters?
To play or not to play, that is the question.

Most of us don't recommend quarters for various good reasons.
However try a thin piece of plastic, maybe a small zip tie, on the track that the token rides. When your trial works clean the track with alcohol & a Q-tip then use super glue e.g. to keep it in place. Retest.
To play or not to play, that is the question.
